Legal ivory sales are back and currently taking place in four African countries!Locals are in favour of auctions as a means of revenue for conservation and community projects alike. The link below gives you a glimpse into what is going on in South Africa. I believe that auctions such as these not only legitimse poaching but may increase the demand for ivory. Who is tracking where the ivory comes from and what happens to it once it is bought? What does any one else think?
