According to an e-mail posted on an animal rights mailing list, animal rights activists Pelle Strindlund began serving an 8 month prison term this week for destroying equipment at a slaughterhouse.
In July 2002, Strindlund was sentenced to a month in jail for releasing chickens from a Swedish farm.
