As Americans for Medical Progress aptly put it, Americans for Medical Advancement "exists primarily as a website to publicize the views and promote the book of its founder, Ray Greek, M.D." Greek is a long-running critic of animal experiments, but his criticisms of medical research rely on such gross distortions and errors, that he is more a liability to the animal rights movement than anything else.
