It seems to be the latter given that you provide no explanation for why SHAC is protesting Huntington Life Sciences, nor how those sentenced didn't actually physically harm anyone and yet are still labeled "terrorists." They exercised their free speech rights on public property, and ran a website detailing the atrocities at HLS. That is their "crime."
